The Ferrari 550 Maranello stands as one of the defining grand tourers of the modern era. Introduced in 1996, it marked Ferrari’s return to the classic front-engined V12 layout paired with a traditional six-speed gated manual gearbox. Today, it is widely regarded as the last truly analogue manual V12 production Ferrari, delivering a level of mechanical engagement that has all but disappeared in modern cars.

At its heart lies a magnificent 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, producing 485 horsepower and 568 Nm of torque. Mated to the iconic open-gate manual transmission, the 550 offers a pure and rewarding driving experience, combining strong performance with long-distance usability. With 0–100 km/h in approximately 4.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 320 km/h, it remains an impressively capable machine even by today’s standards.

Beyond its performance, the 550 Maranello is widely considered one of the most beautiful Ferrari designs ever produced. Penned by Pininfarina, its timeless proportions, long bonnet, elegant cabin and muscular rear have made it a true modern classic.

The example offered here is particularly special, finished in a stunning special order interior request and extremely rare colour combination: Pozzi Blue over a burgundy red leather interior with a special request Blu Scuro seat piping and dashboard with red stitching. A truly elegant and highly desirable specification that perfectly complements the car’s character.

In addition to its unique colour scheme, this car benefits from a highly sought-after factory specification. It is equipped with Scuderia Ferrari shields, the rare Fiorano Handling Package, and was further enhanced through the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Programme. The latter adds a full suite of carbon fibre interior inlays, including the door panels, gauge cluster, centre console and seat trim, giving the cabin a distinctly sporting and bespoke feel.

The Fiorano Handling Package significantly enhances the car’s driving dynamics. Developed by Ferrari based on their Fiorano test circuit experience, it features revised suspension settings, uprated anti-roll bars and specific calibration, resulting in sharper handling, improved feedback and a more focused driving experience, without compromising its grand touring capabilities.

This Ferrari 550 Maranello was delivered new at Ferrari SA.MO.CAR in Rome and has had four owners from new. The most recent owner, a dedicated collector, acquired the car in 2015 at 51,500 km and carefully maintained it as part of a collection. We bought the car from him.

In October 2024, the car received a major service including timing belts. Following this, we carried out an extensive inspection and addressed all minor details to ensure the car is presented in excellent condition and ready for many stress-free kilometers.

The car is accompanied by a well-documented and consistent service history:

• 2000 — 4,110 km

• 2002 — 5,900 km

• 2003 — 14,583 km

• 2004 — 16,812 km

• 2005 — 24,848 km

• 2007 — 32,829 km

• 2013 — 45,900 km

• 2014 — 47,800 km

• 2015 — 53,060 km

• 2016 — 53,143 km

• 2018 — 53,555 km

• 2022 — 53,697 km

• 2024 — 53,795 km (major service + belts)

• 2026 — 54,000 km Service before delivery to it’s new caretaker

With its exceptionally rare colour combination, desirable factory options including the Fiorano Handling Package and carbon interior, and well-documented history, this Ferrari 550 Maranello represents a highly collectible and rewarding driver’s car, an opportunity not to be missed.
