One of our favourite British car brands. Why? Extremely sharp lines, combined with a classic design. In those days, it was still designed by Henrik Fisker, who later moved on and decided he preferred the look of vacuum cleaners. Not immediately eye-catching or flashy, yet incredibly special. The sound of a cold start is like pulling a sleeping tiger’s tail in the morning. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage, also known as the ‘baby Aston’, is a small, nimble yet extremely powerful machine. Nearly 170 horsepower propels you forward.
This 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a rare sight. Finished in the exclusive Ghillies Green – a colour ordered just 146 times between 2006 and 2018 – and combined with an Obsidian Black interior, this is a stylish and characterful British sports car with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The car is in exceptional condition. It has been fully dealer-maintained, with complete documentation from new: all service invoices, purchase invoice, quotation and dealer correspondence are present. The Vantage still retains its original paintwork.
The equipment is comprehensive, including xenon headlights, sat-nav, telephone preparation, heated seats, silver-coloured brake calipers, an aluminium grille, a piano black centre console and black headlining. Its history is just as remarkable as the car itself. Delivered new in 2006 by Aston Martin Cologne to a 70-year-old German owner, who had the car serviced at the same dealer until his death. In 2010, a friend of his took over the car and moved it to Switzerland, where it was used only sporadically, mainly for trips to the golf course.
The entire history of the car has been carefully documented:
