The 997 generation occupies a special place in the history of the 911. Introduced in 2004, it brought back the classic proportions and compact feel of the 911 while combining them with modern performance and usability. It was also the last generation to use hydraulic power steering, giving it the direct and communicative steering feel that has become increasingly appreciated.
The Targa 4 is powered by Porsche’s 3.6-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, producing 325 hp and 370 Nm. This particular car is fitted with the highly desirable 6-speed manual gearbox, making the driving experience even more engaging and increasingly sought after today. With four-wheel drive, it reaches 100 km/h in around 5.3 seconds and continues to 280 km/h. The Targa 4 also features the wider rear body compared to a standard 997, giving it the muscular stance that makes these cars particularly attractive.
This particular car is finished in timeless Arctic Silver Metallic over Terracotta leather, complemented by several desirable factory options. Delivered new in Germany, it has had just three owners from new and comes with a complete service history, with all entries in the service book supported by their corresponding invoices.
In 2023, the clutch has been renewed by Porsche Centre Darmstadt. The invoice for the work is present, as is a fresh Porsche 111-point inspection
